​Photos:

1. DO NOT USE PICTURES STORED IN YOUR GALLERY. THE PICTURES YOU SUBMIT MUST BE NEW PICTURES.

2. Use a mobile phone camera to take the snapshots. Ensure the lense is clean.

3. Get down to your child’s level. Do not take photos from an angle as this can distort your child’s features in photos.

4. Ensure there is a good source of natural light. If there’s not good lighting inside, please go outside where possible.

5. Plain background. In front of a wall. (painted or brick wall)

6. Do not use a filter, effect or flash. The images must be submitted unedited.

7. Curly & Afro type hair to be left big & natural, dry with no product or styling. Tuck girls hair behind ears for a few shots & long hair to be tied in a loose style, or messy top knot for a few shots.

8. Children should wear a plain black, white or neutral fitted T-Shirt or Vest top, with jeans.

9. Age appropriate clothing, no coats, no big brands or bright colours/ patterns!

10. No hair accessories, makeup, no face paint or jewellery for all ages.​
     

Videos:

 1. Filming must be done in LANDSCAPE.​

 2. There should be no back ground noise at all including TV and siblings.

 3. Please film answering the following questions:
- Name

 - Age

 - Location

 - Favourite subject at school

 - What's your favourite - dance, singing or acting? Why?

 - Why do you want to be on READY.SET.CAST books?
